Maths Week Ireland
To celebrate Maths Week Ireland 2026, W5 is delighted to invite Key Stage 2 audiences to a very special show in our Lecture Theatre with Caroline Ainslie. As well as this, you and your group can take time to explore the exhibition floors within W5, free of charge!
Your KS2 class or Home Ed group can arrive at W5 from 10am. Bring your packed lunch or snacks, and we can allocate a picnic area for you.
We ask that you book only the tickets you plan to use, to ensure other schools have the opportunity to attend. In the event that your numbers are reduced, please let us know as soon as possible.
Bubbly Maths Show
Caroline Ainslie brings laughter and games to rich mathematical activities. Bubbly Maths present fun math shows and fun workshops using soap bubbles and balloons. These workshops and shows are great for primary-aged children from 3 to 11 in schools, at home and at fun events, such as festivals and fairs. Bubbly Maths Entertainers perform maths shows in the UK and around the world, engaging audiences using mesmerizing resources. The props? Magical soap bubbles and giant balloons.
These are used to discover the math and science of bubbles and balloon shapes and to explore the mathematical fundamentals of shape and measurement. . The shows are highly visual. audiences.
The topics covered are shape, space, problem solving and mathematical thinking.
